Simple One Pricing and Availability
Talking about the pricing, the electric scooter is already available for INR 1,09,999 offering a 236Km range and a 4.8kWh total capacity with a single removable battery. Here, Simple Energy has launched Simple One, an upgraded variant with an additional removable battery with a 300+ Km range and 6.4kWh total capacity. At INR 1,44,999/- (ex-showroom) to get your hands on You can pre-order a Simple One EV on its website by paying INR 1,947. It will be available in Grace White, Azure Blue, Namma Red, and Brazen Black color options and the deliveries for Simple One will begin in June this year. Simple One directly competes with the likes of Bajaj Chetak, Ather Energy’s 450x, TVS i-Qube, and Ola S1/S1 Pro among others.
Simple One Announced With 300Km+ range
Thanks to the new battery pack, Simple One can output more than 300 km on a single charge which is way more than the 236Km range of the old version. The newly added battery has increased the capacity by 1.6kW and can be stored in the boot space which has a capacity of 30L. There’s an 8.5kW motor under the hood capable of producing 72Nm of torque. Simple Energy has added a few features with the Simple One. This includes but is not limited to enhanced thermal management, power efficiency, and performance. The EV already has a tonne of features onboard including call and music control, navigation, riding modes, among others to show for. According to the CEO & Founder of Simple Energy – Suhas Rajkumar, the Simple One was conceived to allow its rider a sense of relief thanks to its long-range as well as large boot space to store the second battery should you need it.
